A representative of HR Green, identified in council discussion as Josh, updated the council on multiple city projects Sept. 22.
Josh said the 3rd Street sidewalk extension slipped roughly a month because of coordination with the Iowa Department of Transportation; the revised target date for progress was Oct. 7 and the letting date is now expected in early February. He also reported that the sanitary sewer project with Ford & Huber has plans complete, all easements obtained and a DNR construction permit in hand and is ready for bidding.
The consultant said the water treatment plant project also has a DNR permit and is ready to move into construction, and that the sidewalk program contractors have finished on-site work and HR Green is developing dashboard updates to share schedule information with city staff.
