The Anamosa City Council accepted bids and awarded the contract for the water treatment plant aerator replacement project on Sept. 22, approving Resolution 2025-63 following a public hearing on the proposed plan, contract form and estimated cost.
Council also approved a separate amendment to HR Green’s professional services agreement, increasing the contract by $25,500 to add construction‑phase services including site visits, punch-list inspections and limited on-site administration. A representative of HR Green said the initial contract covered design and bidding and the amendment covers construction oversight.
The public hearing on the aerator replacement was opened and closed before the council voted; no public opposition appeared in the transcript. The contract award and the HR Green amendment carry the project into construction and on‑site administration phases.
