Pacific Grove Unified outlines four Local Control Accountability Plan goals for new school year

Hagquist said the district's vision for school culture under those goals "looks like smiles," engagement and a celebration of the human spirit. He emphasized that Pacific Grove's small size means "everybody knows everybody," which the district frames as an advantage in recognizing and supporting students individually.
The LCAP goals were presented as guiding priorities rather than new regulations or budget actions. Hagquist and Superintendent Linda Adamson asked staff and the community to adopt relationship-centered practices so students feel recognized and supported in classrooms across the district.
