Solano County Sheriff's Office swears in new hires and marks promotions

New hires introduced included legal procedures clerk Raylene Hammonds; correctional officers Christopher Seton and Joseph Sunson; building trades mechanic David Bartley; and deputy sheriff Karandeep Balhotra. Promotions presented during the same program included correctional officer Joshua Monroe, accounting technician Gretchen Smith, public safety dispatcher supervisor Destiny Harriman, custody sergeant Bruce Walburn, and public safety dispatcher technician Kaylee Bennett.
Sheriff Brad DeWalt framed the event as both celebration and recognition of service, saying it was an opportunity to honor milestones and acts of service. The ceremony closed with invitations for photos and a post-event reception.
