The grant totals $388,451 for the period Jan. 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2026, and is funded 73% federal and 27% state.
The agenda states the money will be used for support, information, referral, accompaniment, assistance with restitution and victims' compensation, and will partially fund salaries and benefits for eight victim advocates in the District Attorney’s Office Victim/Witness Services. Commissioner Alice Yoder made the motion; Commissioner Joshua G. Parsons seconded it, and the Board approved the award unanimously.
