The Lancaster County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 4, 2026, voted unanimously to approve Resolution No. 8 of 2026, acknowledging a Next Generation Farm Loan application for Ivan S. and Jemima S. Stoltzfus. The resolution records a total project amount of $790,000 and Industrial Development Authority financing of $682,000 for a farm at 1846 Georgetown Road in Christiana, Lancaster County.
Commissioner Alice Yoder moved the resolution and Commissioner Joshua G. Parsons seconded; the motion passed unanimously. As with Resolution No. 7, the resolution language states that the approval does not pledge or obligate the credit or taxing power of Lancaster County and references compliance with the Pennsylvania Economic Development Financing Law and applicable federal rules.
The action formalizes the IDA's previously held public hearing and its determination that the application conforms to public-purpose and financial-responsibility requirements. The public notice is on file in the Penn Township Lancaster County Industrial Development Authority office.
