Committee member Bill Barth proposed reactivating bus service to West Stockbridge from other Berkshire towns to improve regional connectivity. Joe Roy Jr noted the idea would require additional funding and coordination with existing transit providers and suggested keeping the project in mind for future Complete Streets grant applications.
Members agreed to be mindful of timing and funding constraints and to notify Bill when Complete Streets committee meetings resume so they can discuss potential bus-stop applications. No formal motion or funding commitment was recorded at the June 9 meeting.
