Sedgwick County election officials announced the winners of the county's 2025 "I Voted" sticker contest during the April 2 commission meeting and said the first-place design will be produced for distribution in the upcoming primary and general elections.
Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater said the contest drew about 215 entries from students in grades 6–12 across more than 20 schools, plus homeschool submissions, and that a bipartisan panel of four judges selected three finalists before choosing a winner. "The 1st place winner will have their sticker made into stickers for this year's primary and general election," Rainwater said.
County communications staff said they have laminated and displayed roughly 50 notable entries in the historic courthouse lobby and will arrange photos of the finalists after the proclamations. Commissioners thanked the election office and participating teachers for incorporating the contest into classroom activities to engage youth in civic participation.
