Public Works: paving completed, surplus millings and new milling machine to aid repairs

Staff also reported that a traffic light on William Street will be repaired this coming weekend by Executive Electric, and that new street lights will be replaced first in areas with the heaviest losses. City Hall window installations are expected with a two-week lead time and mid-November windows arrival was noted.
Council members also discussed salt inventory: a salt budget transfer was on the agenda and quantities were increased over last year to prepare for winter operations. The Police Department reported the School Resource Officer program is working well, and Senior Center events were listed.
