Administrator highlights transportation gaps and plans for school physicals

Administrator Robin Allen briefed the board on county transportation needs and school health planning.
Allen said residents needing transportation assistance can call Program Compliance Oversight Monitor Monte Andrews at 815-844-7741 and that Future Connections is now working with Iroquois County to provide transportation but needs drivers. She urged residents and partners to note that resource in planning access to services.
On school health, Allen said school physicals will be provided by Dr. Meena at schools in August when vaccinations are given. Allen also previewed upcoming health fairs and a future dental clinic that the department will coordinate.
