The board heard that a service main leak on Route 20 was repaired this week and that residents who complained of cloudy water saw the problem clear within days after pump adjustments.
A committee member described the cause as air in the system after a pump change: "It was the air thing. Once we switched the pumps and... within, like, 3 days, it cleared up." Members said a pump-house issue would be inspected and an air-release valve will be added to prevent recurrence.
