Chair said LaBerge has added maintenance tasks for the project and that "Thomas Kodak has gotten a grant, with, the CEO to extend the water main from Stewart's down to the school." The board heard that the grant recipient will pay for the mains, tie-ins and meter installation; the village will own the water main in the same manner as other mains and will bill CEO as an out-of-village customer after installation.
The board moved and approved the resolution (motion by Guy, seconded by Ryan) with no recorded opposition. The Chair said staff will follow up to define procedures for billing out-of-district commercial customers and to finalize the letter the grantor requested to proceed with bidding.
