A committee member told the board they had been notified by environmental authorities that a liquid from a recent roadside accident tested positive for PCBs and that cleanup would begin promptly.
"The liquid that came out of the thing that fell did test positive for PCBs," the committee member said, and the board heard that Clean Harbors Environmental would undertake the dig and removal. Board members discussed whether a nearby manhole or storm drain could have been affected and agreed to follow up with the environmental contact for details and contact information.
