Chair noted uncertainty over whether to accept an advance‑payment option that charges fees and asked staff to track future disbursements and whether placing receipts in a NYCLASS capital account would earn interest. “So we’re gonna transfer $35,002.44 91 from F2690, other compensation for loss,” Chair said when moving the transfer.
The board discussed attorney fees taken from the settlement proceeds and agreed not to sign up for other advance-payment programs that could charge more up front. Staff was asked to monitor incoming wires and confirm how future installments will be handled so the funds can be deployed for future water infrastructure needs.
