Notus council directs staff to refine ID E.Q. funding letters of interest for emerging contaminants and drinking water

The council reviewed two funding letters of interest related to water: an I.D.E.Q. Emerging Contaminants LOI and an I.D.E.Q. Drinking Water Loan LOI. For the emerging contaminants LOI, Councilmember Devin Krasowski moved to forward comments to Antonio, the city engineer, for review and to return a draft to the Jan. 6 meeting; Councilmember Rob Hartsock seconded and the motion carried on roll call.
On the Drinking Water Loan LOI, council members noted the submission deadline of Jan. 10 and directed staff to discuss the LOI with the city engineer and present a draft for approval at the Jan. 6 meeting. Both LOIs were reviewed but not submitted at the Dec. 16 meeting; staff follow-up and potential submission timelines were set.
