Resident raises unresolved tree complaint; council enters executive session on property matters
Summary
A Walnut Street resident asked council to revisit a neighbor-tree overhang left untrimmed since March. Council then voted unanimously to go into executive session to consider the purchase or sale of property under R.C. 121.22(G)(2); the session began at 7:03 p.m., the council returned at 7:20 p.m., and adjourned at about 7:30 p.m.
During the public-comment portion of the meeting, Walnut Street resident Marty Moore asked council to follow up on a neighbor's tree overhanging his property; Mr. Moore said he had raised the issue in March and the condition remained unaddressed. Safety-Service Director Mr. Rhodes was asked to address the complaint.
Later in the meeting, Mr. Seebaugh moved that council enter executive session "to consider the purchase of property (both real and personal...) or to consider the sale of property..." under R.C. 121.22(G)(2). Council recessed to executive session at 7:03 p.m., returned to open session at 7:20 p.m., and the meeting adjourned at approximately 7:30 p.m. Council President Mr. Martin announced that no further business would be conducted after the executive session that evening.
