Councilwoman objects to August minutes; city attorney cites Idaho law

Councilman Devin Krasowski moved to approve meeting minutes from Oct. 7 and 21, 2024 and Nov. 7, 2024. Councilwoman Lupita Connor asked again that the council change the August minutes "to reflect comments made during a meeting recess." City Attorney Ben Layman responded that already-approved meeting minutes will not be changed and said, according to Idaho law, comments made during a recess are not part of the official record.
Despite Connor's request, the motion to approve the minutes carried on a roll call vote: Krasowski yes, Ahlborn yes, Hartsock yes and Connor no. The minutes remain as previously approved; the council did not direct staff to reopen or amend past, approved minutes.
