The Assembly unanimously approved Resolution #2026-09 on April 13, declaring four borough‑owned leased premises at the Scow Bay project site are needed for a publicly funded boat haulout and work yard project and may be terminated to allow construction.
John Murgas, whose leases were canceled, thanked the borough for leasing the spaces over the past 15 years and asked the Assembly to work with leaseholder Taylor Pullar so he might keep his space. Mike Corl also urged the Assembly to consider allowing Pullar to remain because of the value his business provides for boat haul‑outs. The resolution passed by unanimous roll call vote (motion by Assembly Member Meucci, second by Assembly Member Martin).
