Committee member (S4) raised a separate operational matter during the meeting, asking county staff (Mike) to review permit forms and the encroachment/easement fee schedule. Chair (S1) said he had discussed fees with peers and that the county should be "in compliance with the other counties as far as our fee schedule" rather than adopting a doubled access-to-state-land fee that would be unlikely to pass.
Commissioners discussed approach widths and specifications for encroachment permits and noted that state permit timing meant work likely would not start before the 27th; S4 said the blueprint and spec layout will be coordinated with county road staff and John Bock for a final approach-size specification.
