First Selectman Michael Criss reported during the Aug. 4 meeting that both bridges under consideration received approval for 50% grant funding, a development the town will factor into project planning and budgeting. The board did not take a binding vote on project contracts or funding at this meeting.
Mr. Criss also reported that curbing and paving work on Bull Road has been completed and that storm debris cleanup is scheduled to begin in early August. Public Works Director Justin Downes was listed among attendees and will coordinate cleanup and roadwork details.
