Ryan Manasi, attorney for the applicant, told the Hearing Master the request (standard rezoning file 24-0725) would change roughly 1.33 acres from ASC-1 (agricultural single-family) to the Manufacturing (M) district, noting the parcel is surrounded by manufacturing-zoned properties and compatible uses. "None of the review agencies object to our request and there were no waivers or conditions presented in this request," Manasi said.
Development Services staff and Planning Commission staff both told the hearing Master they found the rezoning consistent with the unincorporated Hillsborough County comprehensive plan and the Bridal community plan. Planning Commission staff member David Hay said the site "meets the intent" of multiple community-plan goals for light-industrial character and compatibility. Hearing Master Pamela Jo Hatley closed the item with no public speakers recorded in support or opposition and no further questions for the applicant.
