Summary
Staff reported demolition at the 7-11/Sunoco canopy, permit issuance for 4 Toretta Lane, construction at Dark Horse and The Saint interior alterations (Notice of Violation issued); illegal rentals are under investigation.
Building Department staff reviewed active permits and enforcement activity. A demolition permit for the canopy and gas-station equipment at the 7-11/Sunoco site was issued and the project completed; the property is under contract to Southland (711). A permit was issued for 4 Toretta Lane and construction has begun. Dark Horse permits were approved and construction is underway.
Staff also noted that interior alterations at The Saint, 195 Main Street, had required plans after a 5/18 permit and that a Notice of Violation has been issued following a Special Use public hearing that was held and approved. Illegal rentals are being investigated and a backlog of open permits is being addressed for close out.
