Village administrators reported that the Village received $223,000 from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program to be applied toward reconstruction of Main Street between Conklin Street and South Front Street. The funding was presented as available for that targeted reconstruction project.
Trustees additionally directed staff to investigate senior income levels that qualify residents for certain property tax programs; staff said they will return with findings. The CDBG allocation will be used in upcoming engineering and scheduling discussions for the Main Street reconstruction project.
