District vendor flags broken inverters, recommends $15,000 annual repair budget

"For 19 bad strings and to bypass broken panels we are looking at a cost of approximately $19,675," Site Logic said, and the vendor recommended a $15,000 annual repair budget and a $10,000 repair to the monitoring system.
Board members pressed for clearer tracking of energy savings tied to the system; trustee Jim Bingham said he wanted the district to calculate quarterly savings going forward. A Site Logic representative (Jordan) assured the board the savings calculation is straightforward and could be done quarterly. The vendor recommended the board consider formal approval of repair work at the September meeting so repairs and monitoring restoration can proceed before peak usage months.
