Ames Street Bridge pipe break repaired; town reports no contamination after tests

Residents thanked DPW for working over the weekend and raised related public-safety concerns. Jeff Barrett asked whether a gasoline-powered generator is designed to back up the pump at the water tower; Town Manager Spuck answered yes.
