Village Manager Megan Haselden described a revised FY26 budget format that ties budget revenues to expenditures and noted several outlying accounts with no recorded activity since 1989. She told the council the primary focus of next week’s work session will be the budget and said the Dangerous Buildings Ordinance will also appear on that session’s agenda.
Haselden announced a Budget Public Hearing set for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, with the regular council meeting to follow. She said the council will hold a special meeting at the end of February to vote on the FY26 budget and any amendments to the FY25 budget to ensure February expenses are included before final adoption.
