S9 also noted the recent retirement of Lieutenant Kevin McGovern, a firefighter with more than 22 years of service, wished him well and announced the next senior advisory council meeting on June 3. The mayor later echoed the thanks and offered well wishes for EMS member Matt Gabi, who recently underwent major surgery.
