He said the Youth Bureau’s tree-planting work involved children and volunteers and described the effort as "7 kids planted over 100 trees."
Scott also said the Next Generation career and resource fair drew vendors from Con Edison, the IRS, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Marshals and the New York State Police and that organizers plan to repeat the fair on June 13 for families who could not attend earlier. He encouraged attendance at an "engage and elevate" lunchtime session for youth advocates on May 30.
