Kevin Gutierrez, the county finance director, told commissioners that interim audit work is complete but that the county’s ERP (Tyler Tech) implementation slipped. "We were not going to be able to be successful with an October 1 go live for the financial module," Gutierrez said, and staff negotiated a three‑month delay so the system will now go live for most modules on January 1, with the asset management module to follow later.
Gutierrez estimated the schedule change will cost about $20,000 — funds that are currently covered in the project appropriation but that draw from contingency. He said the delay reflects workload and staffing constraints and that the county will align HR/payroll cutover with the calendar year to avoid tax and payroll accumulator issues. Commissioners asked for confirmation of the timeline and next steps; finance staff said they will prioritize resources to meet the new date.
