On June 11, 2026, County Civil Engineer Brandon Rokis presented a recommendation that the Henry County Board execute a Preliminary Engineering Agreement with Willett Hofmann and Associates, Inc. to design a township box culvert in Hanna Township, with a contract value of $57,010.00. The committee considered the scope and potential drainage benefits for the township.
Brandon Rokis, County Civil Engineer, stated, "B. Rokis presented and recommended the Board execute a Preliminary Engineering Agreement with Willett Hofmann and Associates, Inc., to design a township box culvert in Hanna Township in the amount of $57,010.00." Member Dale Stiles moved to recommend the Board execute the agreement; Crystal Strode seconded. A roll-call vote was recorded as five "Aye": R. Kiser, D. Dobbels, R. Elliott, D. Stiles and C. Strode. The motion carried and the recommendation will be forwarded to the full County Board for final action.
