Board approves culverts, road overlay and boiler upgrades totaling tens of thousands

The Board approved a package of infrastructure and facilities items, including a $10,230.50 purchase of culvert materials from Metal Culverts, Inc., an $11,991.34 addendum to the boiler project to replace existing pumps, and a $15,418.00 upgrade to the Prolon pneumatic controls. The Board also approved 2026 Township MFT general maintenance contracts and awarded the Barnett Road District Section 26-01000-01-GM Tabor Road overlay.
Prestegaard reported that the highway crew will begin mowing county highways after the holiday weekend and reminded the Board the County Engineer's term will be up for action next month. The motions were carried by recorded votes as reflected in the minutes.
