County updates RUS system signers for reconnect broadband award and approves resolution

Leslie Satter, Pine County economic development coordinator, asked the board to adopt a resolution (2025‑35) to authorize the county administrator, the auditor‑treasurer and Satter herself as users in the Rural Utilities Service reporting system for ongoing reporting on the East of Hinkley reconnect award. Staffing changes required the update so the county can file its next quarterly report due Oct. 31.
Satter told the board construction on the reconnect project, awarded in 2021, has been delayed by the sale of SEI to Midco but that construction is still intended for next year. The board moved and approved the resolution so staff can complete required federal reporting and continue the project schedule.
No roll‑call vote was recorded; the motion passed by voice vote.
