Council votes to end outside operator contract for treatment plant services

Based on that testimony and staff review of DEQ classification requirements, Councilor 5 moved that the city deny the contracted agreement; the council seconded the motion and voted unanimously to decline the contract, noting the city has hired a full-time operator and does not need duplicate contracted services at $11,350 per month.
