Revitalize Dunkirk says Discovery Way trail build scheduled June 2-5; ribbon cutting June 5

Revitalize Dunkirk representatives reported that 54 hanging baskets will be installed before Memorial Day, that a hydration station will be provided at the parade, and that Discovery Way at The Point will be built June 2through June 5. Marybeth Muldowney said the trail received a Ralph C. Wilson Foundation grant and that Kaboom will assist with the build; volunteers are invited to participate and the ribbon cutting is scheduled for 3:00 PM on Friday, June 5 at the trailhead.
Organizers described the project as family-friendly and nature-themed, and said more information is available on Revitalize Dunkirk's website and Facebook. Council members thanked volunteers and organizers for the project and noted community benefits of the trail and related events.
