Council accepted Walk-in Resolution 44-2026 and authorized execution of a software service agreement for the Dunkirk Fire Department. The chief described the need: the department must maintain incident reporting to state and federal regulators, keep training logs, and store hydrant and property data; the previous system was no longer supported.
"This program will allow us to do that, and it's a little bit more user friendly than things we've used in the past," the fire chief said, adding the system helps meet compliance needs and is reasonable in budget terms. After council questions the clerk called roll and the resolution was adopted.
