"I reached out to Rich Orenstein," Chair said, describing the intent to formalize an arrangement so each jurisdiction can use the other's equipment and contribute funds as needed.
The discussion emphasized practical examples: the county previously used its boom mower to clear a road near Taylorsville Elementary and the city has acquired a vacuum truck it wants to store locally. Chair said the draft MOU will be prepared with legal review by county staff and brought back to the court for consideration. No formal motion or vote was taken on the MOU at this meeting; Chair said the item will return on a future agenda for formal action.
