The Town of Rumford Select Board approved several routine administrative items at its Sept. 18 meeting: the Nov. 5, 2025 municipal election warrant containing Charter Commission questions (motion DiConzo, second Theriault, vote 5-0), Warrant #12 (vote 5-0), and approval of minutes from July 31 and Aug. 7 (vote 5-0). The board also approved purchase of a used sewer truck and trade of the old vehicle (motion DiConzo, second Pepin, vote 5-0).
The minutes record the board entering executive sessions for labor negotiations (entered 6:46 pm, exited 7:20 pm), personnel matters (entered 7:22 pm, exited 7:47 pm), and legal counsel (entered 7:55 pm, exited 8:22 pm). An executive session for economic development was tabled (vote 4-0). The board adjourned at 8:23 pm on a motion by DiConzo, seconded by Pepin (vote 4-0).
