Airport manager reports PAPI lights damaged, NDOT inspection complete; bids and repairs underway

Calderwood reported that PAPI lights on Runway 18 were damaged during mowing and that bid tab results for repairs are in; he estimated a roughly 90-day timeline for the project once a bid is approved. He also noted that NDOT completed its airport inspection and a written report will follow. Among other items Calderwood listed were repair work on the AP-7 snowplow (new ignition switch and battery, hood latch repair), a crane-training NOTAM when Wilson Electrical was conducting training, a two-week phone outage, plans to add an additional terminal antenna with ARINC, and removal of a broken curb by the propane tanks.
