Wold told commissioners he is not licensed to practice law in Wyoming and emphasized teamwork and practical project work, saying, "This is all about teamwork" and that he is "great at working in trenches." Commissioners confirmed the commission meets about once a month, moving to every other month, with occasional subcommittee work.
A second candidate, Aaron Raesler (participating by phone), described a background in environmental consulting and abandoned mine reclamation near Sheridan and said his interest stems from a long-standing curiosity about local history. Raesler said he can meet the expected schedule and noted past work on mine reclamation planning and the National Register efforts he'd encountered in other communities. The board did not make appointments at the special meeting; commissioners said selections will be announced at the regular BOCC meeting on the 16th.
