Board appoints four student members to 2025–26 student board

The Piedmont Unified School District board voted unanimously to appoint four student board members for the 2025–26 school year. President Lindsay Thompson introduced the students and the board moved and seconded the appointments; members voted "Aye" and the motion carried.
Sanaya Johnson, who will represent Millennium High School, said, "I'm thankful that the board could have me as a student representative," and other student appointees spoke briefly about representing peers and sharing student perspectives. The student board members will begin official meeting attendance at the board's next meeting on September 10.
