Borough Manager Cindy Wells reported that seven Renaissance grant applications were received, totaling $60,606 in proposed project costs and requesting $23,600 in grant funding. She said $90,547.35 remains available in Renaissance Grant funding and recommended approving all seven applications on the basis that the property improvements would assist efforts to fight blight.
Councilor Steadman moved to approve the recommended Renaissance grants totaling $23,600 and Councilor Osborn seconded; the motion carried unanimously. The council did not record conditions on the grants in the minutes; managers typically notify applicants about disbursement steps following approval.
