City attorney warns Bristow could lose $1 million OWRB grant if Timco project easements are not resolved

City Attorney Beth Anne told the Bristow Municipal Authority that a dispute over easements is preventing a contractor from accessing county-owned land for the Timco water and sewer project and that the county has indicated it will not allow contractor access without easements. She said the project was moved south previously at the request of the Bristow Industrial Board but that the county's attorneys later reported no easements exist.
"She stated that if this project is not done by August 1, 2026, the city will lose $1. Million dollars that was funded by the OWRB Grant," Beth Anne told the trustees, who were asked to reach out to county commissioners. Beth Anne said a meeting with county officials is scheduled and she will keep the trustees updated. No formal action was taken on agenda item #8 during the meeting.
