Council adopts property abatements, adopts Manual of Fees with water-rate item excluded, and signs tribal MOU

The Bristow City Council adopted resolutions abating dilapidated buildings at Lots 26–29, Block 12 in the Krumrei Addition (commonly known as 711 and 715 E. 2nd Ave), recorded as Resolutions R1480-061526 and R1481-061526. The council approved the Manual of Fees for FY 2026–27 (Resolution R1482-061526) but specifically excluded one utility-fee line — "Water — Additional 500,001 and over, fee of $3.47 per 1,000 gallons" — after Councilmember Judd Johns asked how many customers used that volume and said he "felt that rate was too low" and wanted that information before approving it.
Council also approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Muscogee (Creek) Nation to place several roadways within the Nation's National Tribal Transportation Facility Inventory. All motions passed by unanimous roll call of the members present.
