On communications and enrollment, he reported rolling out a new robocall system and said, "I could tell you on the robo call system that I sent out, we had a 96.4% connection rate." The district also reported 541 responses to a summer survey, with 530 students returning, 250 school-choice applications in process and 109 admitted to date; staff said the enrollment window remains open through the summer.
Trustees asked clarifying questions about background checks for older students applying through school choice and other calendar details; administration said kindergarten and early-grade screening differs from vetting for older students. The district did not vote on these planning items; they were reported as operational updates.
