Four officers sworn in as Sterling Heights police add recruits

Officer Arthur Golesky, Officer Kevin Wildes, Officer Demario Walk and Officer Robert Perowitz each described their appreciation for the opportunity to serve. "I want to just, thank all the city officials here present and both at home for the opportunity of being here to serve the city," one of the new officers said. Council members welcomed the recruits and thanked their families.
The council recessed briefly to greet families; Satterfield said the new officers bring a mix of local and federal experience and commended the department's recruitment.
