Long Prairie council approves donations, FAA fund transfer, pay app and joint powers agreement

Mayor Jim Kreemer called the Long Prairie City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. on May 13, 2026. The council unanimously approved the consent calendar, including Resolution No. 26-05-13-11 acknowledging $26,070 in donations received in April 2026 and a set of permits and licenses listed on the agenda.
The council also approved several new-business items: a motion to transfer $150,000 in FAA entitlement funds for Todd Field (14Y) to Paynesville Airport; Pay Application No. 11 to C & L Excavating for $121,016.28 for Main Lift Station Improvements; and Resolution No. 26-05-13-12 authorizing a joint powers agreement with the State of Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA). Each motion was made, seconded and recorded as unanimously approved. The meeting adjourned at 7:46 p.m.
