Stephanie Wright described a proposed workflow to make nominations and term renewals more transparent, including a timeline for incumbents who want reconfirmation and clearer notification to ex officio contacts who coordinate with City Council. "I'm thinking it would probably make sense if we notified the ex officio who would, like, communicate that with city council," Wright said. Members noted that many terms end at year end and recommended an open application process for future vacancies to increase transparency.
