The Community Facility District number 1 board voted unanimously on Aug. 4, 2026, to authorize issuance and sale of special assessment bonds for Assessment Area Number 8.
Special counsel Zach Sake described the bond resolution as authorizing issuance and sale of the assessment-area bonds and handling the usual mechanics for bond transfers and prepayments. "It includes the not to exceed amount of 695,000, which again tracks with the $5,000 per lot times a 139 lots," Sake said.
The resolution (SVCFD1 2026-011) approved the form of bond documents, authorized execution and delivery of related documents, awarded the bonds to a purchaser, and authorized appointment of a registrar, transfer agent and paying agent. The motion to authorize the bonds was moved and seconded and passed unanimously on roll call.
Board members gave no public comment on the financing item during the hearing. The authorization enables district staff to proceed with bond award and closing steps consistent with the approved documents.
