Board approves final assessment for Superstition Vista CFD No. 1, Assessment Area 8

At a special meeting on Aug. 4, 2026, the Community Facility District number 1 board approved a resolution confirming the final assessment for Superstition Vista Community Facility District number 1, Assessment Area 8.
Zach Sake, special counsel to the district, told the board the assessment documentation has been completed and recorded and that a title report for any lot will disclose the assessment. "All the lots are owned solely by Doctor Horton at this point," Sake said, noting the public hearing exists to surface objections to completion or to placing the assessment on individual lots.
The board moved and seconded the resolution to approve the final assessment and order the collection of installments. The motion passed unanimously on roll call. Under the approved action, the district may begin collecting assessment installment payments that are pledged to repayment of bonds for Assessment Area 8.
The assessment approval follows the district engineer's confirmation that the project is complete and that each lot benefits from the project, according to counsel. The board took no public comment during the hearing and recorded no objections.
