Commissioners also voted to table the site‑plan review to the August meeting and asked staff to request corrected, updated drawings from the applicant before the next hearing.
As Commissioner Jagiec put it during debate, "I don't think we need a flood of these additional establishments." The commission recorded the recommendation to deny as its formal advice to City Council; final authorization on tobacco‑sales exemptions rests with the council.
